I’m a communications professional working in government comms. I’m formerly an editor for the Peabody Award winningLatino USA, the longest running national Latino news and cultural public radio program. Prior to that I was a reporter and editor at The World, where I focused on immigration, labor and Latino voters.
I spent three years covering the Illinois statehouse and local news in Springfield. My public affairs reporting has been featured on NPR and other public radio stations across the state.
I’m a 2017 graduate of the Public Affairs Reporting graduate program at the University of Illinois at Springfield.
